lyrics
all that you are is the result
of every moment every juncture and how you have thought
your purpose, your mission is the one you give yourself
what you do and who you become begins and ends with you
the spirit the mother the earth the infinite body
you are the sun god the shaman, you are the deity
the spirit the mother the earth the infinite body
the connections been lost and now you've begun rotting
you've begun rotting
what are the objects in this world? forms we must possess
what does it take for something to actually exist?
distinctive organization and structure, undeniable evidence
you are not just the matter that you materially exist
the spirit the mother the earth the infinite body
the connections been lost and now you've begun rotting
you've begun rotting
substance, logic, virtue, passing threw you
the spirit the mother the earth the infinite body
the connections been lost and now you've begun rotting
you've begun rotting
apprehension of our dulled senses
reality of our world hence is
constantly changing, always decaying
our everyday world is a brief glimpse
interpreting a higher consciousness
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
