lyrics
Blacked out of social clouds, your head stuck in a screen
Wake up, your weary eyes can't see what's in between
Falling into a world of sex and cyber space
Fucked up, that life's a grid and it can be erased
A slave to a prison, a name to a face
shackled by image and technology
the art of it's lost, replaced by it's stain
covered by digital scum on a plate
Wiped out, all sacred forms of art and poetry
Stolen, a place to walk without identity
Buying, consumer world, a rat stuck in a cage
Choking, deceptive lies, consumption of their waste

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
