lyrics
quarter past midnight winter 2003 the streets are all vacant, the airs hard to breath
off in the distance the moons dawned behind trees, barren and fragile and stripped of their leaves
and in a moment my lungs start to freeze, the grip of the night brings me down to my knees
stomach is turning with each passing breeze, nobody to run to, nobody who sees
system of terror
inexhaustible error
system of terror
for all who dare enter
system of terror
demanding compliance
system of terror
to the holy alliance
distinctively another tragedy of monetary greed, from which it feeds
system of terror
pollute and acquire
system of terror
to heighten the stature
system of terror
destroy opposition
system of terror
to sustain the position of hierarchy amongst lesser educated beings
inhibiting the weak of any form of uprising
nothing left to lose
no chance to escape
if this is how it ends
you better believe you're going down with me
ill cut your fucking throat

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
