lyrics
Distraught by this feeling time and time again
(only this time I can't quite explain)
Shooting up my spine directly into my brain
(in my blood coursing through all my veins)
In this moment I feel all the worlds pain
The dying, diseased, the tortured and the slain
(transcending reality we become one in the same)
The weight of the world is breaking my back
and with every breath there's a panic attack
I can't hardly sleep, I can't hardly keep
My balance and composure with an agony so deep
Now my stomach is sick from the starving and poor
the endeavor of the slave is the reason I'm sore
I just want to run, I just want to hide
But the guilt of not helping will eat my alive
Why have I become the chosen one
To carry the burden with the weight of a ton
The worst of the misery is still yet to come
And the damage created can never be undone...undone
The weight of the world is breaking my back
and with every breath there's a panic attack
I can't hardly sleep, I can't hardly keep
My balance and composure with an agony so deep
Now my stomach is sick from the starving and poor
the endeavor of the slave is the reason I'm sore
I just want to run, I just want to hide
But the guilt of not helping will eat my alive
I can't help but think that I am
The body of suffering, I feel the pain of everything
Tortured, raped, with nails I'm tied to the cross of life I'm crucified
Lifeless body thrown in a tomb, for all of eternity my soul is doomed

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

this their most solid release to date, there other records are all insanely brilliant, you should buy them if you enjoy this for sure. keep kicking ass and putting some of the best sludge this decade. Ryan Graham
