Grab the gun, get the cash
fuck the cops,make it fast
this is gona set us up
it's the end of our bad luck
two shots down, getting paid
wish the girl would have stayed
on the floor like she was told
eighty dollars for her soul
Choppers flying overhead
flipped the car nearly dead
bodies lying in the street
no time to waste back on my feet
flea the scene, ditch the gun
can hear the dogs as I run
the boys in blue are moving in
this is it we've reached the end
FREEZE ITS THE PIGS
and now I wait in a cage to go insane
On cell block D you can get anything you need
TWENTY FIVE DOLLAR SPOON OF SHITTY WEED
a primal change behind these bars
the animals are in charge
blend in with the herd and stay
alive to see another day
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
New York hardcore meets classic thrash metal meets Jane's Addiction-esque alternative on the Brooklyn crushers' sensational debut. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 13, 2023
Both of these bands have the distinction of completely wretched vocals, some of the most disgusting you will hear. Musically I’m partial to Atra Mors, but Torver rips as well with intense blackened punk. Unholy Invocation is the weirdest black metal song I’ve ever heard, and that’s saying something. It sounds more like the theme to a cop show, or a cheesy horror film, from the 70s or early 80s. Metallurgical Fire
